3 Drawer File Cabinet

If you have a home office with a lot of papers to manage then a 2 drawer file cabinet may not be enough. You should probably consider one with 3 or 4 drawers. The three drawer is almost always a vertical unit with three completely separate drawers for storing important documents. Since there are 3 drawers you can also get a style that has one large drawer for files at the bottom and one or two smaller drawers on top which act more like desk drawers for pencils and things. You can get them with wheels if you need mobility or you can have them sit static on the floor. In our office we use these as drawer systems for our office cubicles that didn't come with drawers built in. They make it easy to move from one location to another, and we saved money on our cubicle workstations, too.

Whether you need 3 full filing drawers for a lot of business papers, or you need one with a couple of pencil drawers there are lots of style options available. Most of them are metal, but there are some beautiful wood options. Office furniture stores like Stapes and Office Max have a great selection, or you could step it up a notch and get one at an upscale home furniture store. If you're ok with pressed wood or the put it together yourself types, then consider brands like Sauder and O'Sullivan. They're inexpensive, look like hardwood but use particle board with wood coverings. They're easy to put together, easy to transport and look very nice in the office.
